Free website SEO analyzer

Paste any URL into this free SEO checker to see how the page looks to search engines and AI assistants: whether its title, description and headings are set up properly, whether it tells Google which URL is the original, and whether AI crawlers such as GPTBot and PerplexityBot are allowed to read it. Results take a few seconds.

Key takeaways

  • The website SEO analyzer checks one URL at a time: title, meta description, headings, canonical, structured data, image alt text, robots meta and AI crawler access.
  • Each check comes back as a pass, warning or fail, with an overall score, so you can see what to fix first.
  • It's free, needs no signup, and the URLs you check aren't stored.
  • For a whole-site view (crawl, indexation, real-user speed data), request the free written audit from an SEO strategist.

SECTION 01

What this SEO checker looks at

  • Title tag: present and between 30 and 60 characters, the length search results usually show in full.
  • Meta description: present and between 120 and 160 characters.
  • H1: exactly one main heading that says what the page is about.
  • Canonical tag: present, and pointing at the page itself unless it's meant to defer to another URL.
  • Structured data: which schema.org types the page declares, such as Organization, Product or FAQPage.
  • Image alt text: how many images have a text description for search engines and screen readers.
  • Robots meta tag: whether the page tells search engines not to index it or follow its links.
  • AI crawler access: whether the site's robots.txt allows OAI-SearchBot, GPTBot, PerplexityBot, ClaudeBot, Claude-SearchBot and Google-Extended.
SECTION 02

How to read your results

Fix fails before warnings, and fix them on page templates rather than one page at a time: a missing meta description on a product template affects every product. A page can pass every check here and still not rank, because the analyzer can't judge content quality, speed, links or competition. That's what a full audit is for.
